Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need any experience?

None at all. We welcome complete beginners and build everything from the ground up. All you need is the willingness to learn.

What age can my child start?

Junior sessions are open from age 5. Our junior coaches create a safe, fun environment where children develop athleticism, confidence and discipline.

What do I need to wear?

Comfortable training clothes — a rash guard, t-shirt, shorts or joggers. No hard-soled shoes on the mat. Wrestling boots are ideal but not required at first.

Do I need to compete?

Absolutely not. Many of our members train purely for fitness, fun and the challenge. Competition is always optional and we'll never pressure you.

Can adults join with no experience?

Yes! We have a dedicated adult beginners pathway in our seniors sessions. You'll start with fundamentals before progressing to more advanced techniques.
